Scope and Contents Contains digitized letters and journal extracts written by Phelps and his family between 1835 and 1865. The majority of the papers in this collection are correspondences written by Phelps. Phelps apparently created a journal of the letters he wrote, and several of the items in this collection appear to be pages taken from that journal.
